"Want to celebrate Valentine's day but don't have a sitter? No worries THS Robotics is hosting an early Valentines day STEM night on February 9th from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Drop off your kiddo for a Valentine themed stem night! All proceeds go to support our trip to State and the Worlds Robotics Championship in Dallas!"

Pre-enrollment forms and checks made out to Tahlequah Public Schools can be taken to the THS front office in a sealed envelope with “Candice Yochum” written on the front. Students can also turn in enrollment forms and money to their site office. CHECKS ONLY!

With the local and state weather forecasts and information from the Cherokee County Emergency Management team and due to the probability of dangerous travel conditions tomorrow, Monday, January 22nd, all PK-12th grade students and staff will NOT be in session tomorrow. Due to extreme cold temperatures and possible freezing at dusk, parents are encouraged to pick up their student at the end of the school day, if possible.
Please let us know if changes need to be made for your child's afterschool plan.
If arrangements cannot be made, our afterschool program will be open during regular hours.
Attention Tiger Visitors:
Until further notice, Tahlequah Public Schools will not REQUIRE clear, small bags any longer to enter an event. However, all bags are subject to search to attend any of our events. We also will still have an increased police presence at all events. Please find an officer or administrator at any event if you see anything that is suspect or causes you concern.

Safety First!!!! Attention TPS families! Help us keep our buildings safe! We would ask you, if possible, to follow the same safety procedures we have in place for our athletic events at ANY event at TPS. Parent-Teacher Conferences, choir concerts, family nights, book fairs, etc.! Clear bags or no bags help us to keep our buildings secure.

We are aware of an incident involving an unloaded BB gun brought to school at Tahlequah Middle School. This morning the administration was notified by a student of a reported weapon on campus. Administrators and our SRO immediately searched the student’s backpack and found an unloaded BB gun. We want to emphasize that the situation has been resolved and appropriate disciplinary actions will be taken. The well-being of our students is our top priority, and we are committed to providing a safe learning environment.

JOIN US FOR FREE MEALS THIS SUMMER!
Tahlequah Public Schools (TPS) will be offering a summer feeding program located in the Cherokee Elementary School Cafeteria. A free breakfast and free lunch will be served to any/all children 18 years and younger Monday – Friday, beginning May 31st and ending June 23rd. Breakfast will be served 7:30 am – 8:30 am and lunch will be served 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. Children do not have to be TPS students and they do not have to sign up for this service. Food must be consumed on site.
TPS will also be handing out meals on Wednesday’s starting May 31st - June 21st at Gardenwalk Apartment complex and Fox Mobile homes from 11:30am – 12:30pm. These will be cold pack meals that will include that week’s menu items for breakfast and lunch.

A decision has been made with information from the National Weather Service to hold Graduation INSIDE at the TMAC. All attendees must have a ticket to enter.
More information will go out in a call to all senior families. SENIORS need to be at the TMAC wrestling room by 6:00 pm and park in the student parking lot.
