JOIN US FOR FREE MEALS THIS SUMMER! Tahlequah Public Schools (TPS) will be offering a summer feeding program located in the Cherokee Elementary School Cafeteria. A free breakfast and free lunch will be served to any/all children 18 years and younger Monday – Friday, beginning May 31st and ending June 23rd. Breakfast will be served 7:30 am – 8:30 am and lunch will be served 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. Children do not have to be TPS students and they do not have to sign up for this service. Food must be consumed on site. TPS will also be handing out meals on Wednesday’s starting May 31st - June 21st at Gardenwalk Apartment complex and Fox Mobile homes from 11:30am – 12:30pm. These will be cold pack meals that will include that week’s menu items for breakfast and lunch. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

A decision has been made with information from the National Weather Service to hold Graduation INSIDE at the TMAC. All attendees must have a ticket to enter. More information will go out in a call to all senior families. SENIORS need to be at the TMAC wrestling room by 6:00 pm and park in the student parking lot. Please watch the Tahlequah High School Facebook page for additional information. We thank you ahead of time for your patience and understanding.

We will be making a final decision on where graduation will be held by 3:00 pm at the latest. We are working with our local Emergency Management department and viewing all data possible to make an informed decision. Thank you ahead of time for your patience and understanding. As always, the safety of our students and staff will be the deciding factor.

We would like to inform you of our rain plans for the Tahlequah High School Graduation on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 7pm. By 2:00 on Friday afternoon, a decision will be made to move the ceremony indoors if needed for weather reasons. If the ceremony is moved inside to the TMAC, students will receive 7 tickets each. They will receive these tickets at practice tomorrow and each Senior will sign for their tickets. Hopefully, the rain will hold off, and we will be able to accommodate all our family members and friends by hosting this annual event at the NSU stadium. We are so happy for our students and want them to have the best ceremony possible. Thank you for your cooperation as we navigate the spring weather.

Hello Tahlequah Families We wanted to let our families and community know that the Tahlequah Police Department will be conducting an officer training in the High School wrestling room at the TMAC on Tuesday, May 16th. Please do not be alarmed of the large amount of police cars gathered. Have a wonderful day!

Next week we do not have the Afterschool Program. This means your child will need to ride the bus or go to carline. We will have lots of additional children in carline, so it is imperative that everyone follows carline procedures. Please have your car tag visible. Do not attempt to park and walk up to get your child, please stay in the carline to ensure the safety of all children. The line will move quicker, if everyone follows procedure. Thank you!
