Today, we celebrate the incredible bus drivers of Tahlequah Public Schools, the first smiling faces our students see each morning and the last ones they wave goodbye to each afternoon.
Through early mornings, late afternoons, rain or shine, you ensure our students arrive safely, on time, and ready to learn. 🚦👏 Your patience, professionalism, and care do not go unnoticed. Go Tigers! 🐅











Students at Cherokee elementary had a chance to meet our newest Moodie, Smart, and learn all about foods that make us feel smart and ready to do anything!

After School Programs-April 17th.


Hubo un pequeño accidente de autobús en la ruta 11 en Cedar Ave esta mañana.
Todos los estudiantes están bien y están siendo recogidos por otro autobús escolar para transportarlos a la escuela.

There was a small bus accident on route 11 on Cedar Ave this morning.
All students are ok and they are being picked up by another school bus to transport them to school.

Hubo un pequeño accidente de autobús, ruta 16, cerca de la escuela primaria Greenwood sobre Maple Street.
Todos los estudiantes están bien y están siendo recogidos por otro autobús escolar para transportarlos a casa.
Gracias al Departamento de Policía de Tahlequah y a todos los demás que se reunieron para ayudar en esta situación.
Una vez más, todos los niños están bien y serán transportados a casa.

There was a small bus accident near Greenwood Elementary on Maple Street.

Thank you to the Tahlequah Police Department and all others that gathered to helped out in this situation.

Sonia Cadena is our latest Cheers award recipient. Sonia goes above and beyond to ensure that happy and healthy is served up daily in our school cafeterias. She has done everything from dressing up like a monkey to get kids interested in a new menu item to helping other schools when shorthanded, and everything in between. Chartwells and Tahlequah Public Schools are lucky to have Sonia on our team!

The Carbon Monoxide detectors in the office at Greenwood Elementary have detected potential gas. All students have been evacuated out of an abundance of caution. The Fire Department is there making sure everyone is safe.
