What a fantastic start to the school year at Sequoyah Pre-K!  Our staff has been working diligently to build positive relationships with both students and families. Every day, multiple staff members greet students at the door and throughout the building, creating a welcoming environment.

August flew by as our teachers focused on building classroom families, setting school expectations, and fostering social-emotional skills. Students are learning to play cooperatively through various classroom centers and plenty of outdoor time.

In September, we hosted Popsicles on the Playground, a Parent Night, alongside our Book Fair.  Looking ahead, our students will be walking to the fire station this month for a tour and fire safety lesson, complete with a chance to explore the fire truck!  We will also be taking a trip to Rockin R Farms.  Parents are welcome to join us by filling out a volunteer form.

Mark your calendars for October 31st!  We will celebrate with our Halloween Parade, where students will wear costumes and “parade” around, collecting candy from friends and families. It’s always a delightful event for everyone involved!

Every day at Sequoyah Pre-K is filled with fun and learning. We invite you to follow our journey on our Facebook page or visit us to see all the wonderful activities happening at our school!
