Tahlequah High School is proud to announce the exceptional achievements of its top-performing seniors from the Class of 2024. This year, twelve outstanding individuals have been recognized as the top 3% of their graduating class. Leading the pack are Emma Butler, Bella Myers, Mary Katherine “Katie” Moore, Francisco Ramirez, Matthew Talburt, Daily Molloy, Maralah Morgan, Lauren Payton, Hunter Ford, Jacob Poteet, McKenna Hood, and Victoria Pham.

At the helm is Emma Butler, claiming the top spot with an impressive GPA of 4.780. Butler's academic prowess is underscored by her National Rural and Small-Town Recognition Award and AP Scholar with Distinction title. With a rich extracurricular portfolio, including leadership roles in the Science Club and Academic Team, Butler sets her sights on engineering and applied physics at Tulsa University.

Bella Myers shares the top rank with a GPA matching Butler's. A recipient of the National Indigenous Recognition award, Myers excels not only academically but also as co-captain of the Academic Team. Her future includes pursuing a degree in supply chain management at The University of Arkansas.

Ranked at No. 2, Mary Katherine “Katie” Moore boasts a GPA of 4.673. With accolades such as the Indigenous Recognition Award and contributions to the 5A Tennis Academic State champions team, Moore sets her sights on pre-law studies at the University of Arkansas.

Francisco Ramirez secures the third position with a GPA of 4.660. With a keen interest in biology, Ramirez aims to study at Brown University before delving into virology.

Matthew Talburt, ranked fourth with a GPA of 4.617, is a multifaceted individual excelling in academics and sports. Talburt plans to double major in mechanical engineering and economics/finance at the Wharton School at UPenn.

Daily Molloy and Maralah Morgan share the fifth rank, each with a GPA of 4.592. Molloy aims for a career in dental hygiene, while Morgan, an artist and percussionist, is inclined towards science, forensics, and art at Brigham Young University.

Lauren Payton secures the sixth spot with a GPA of 4.560. Payton's passion lies in biology and pre-med studies at Oklahoma State University, paving her way to becoming an obstetrician/gynecologist.

Michael Hunter Ford, at seventh place with a GPA of 4.551, aspires to delve into environmental health and safety or fisheries and wildlife biology at NSU.

Jacob Poteet follows closely, ranking eighth with a GPA of 4.542. Poteet's ambitions center around becoming a primary care doctor, pursuing biochemistry and pre-med at OU.

McKenna Hood clinches the ninth position with a GPA of 4.540. With a knack for biomedical engineering, Hood aims to pursue her studies at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

Victoria Pham rounds up the top ten with a GPA of 4.529. Pham's interests lie in meteorology and journalism, setting the stage for a promising future.

Tahlequah High School celebrates the achievements of these exceptional individuals and looks forward to witnessing their continued success in their chosen paths.
